Shhhh. Don’t let anyone know I am typing on Grandma’s computer. Monkeys aren’t supposed to write blogs — especially not toy monkeys.

Whew! It is not fun to fall off a mountain. I don’t think Grandma will tell you this part of the story...

Now I know where Thailand is! I’ve wondered about this Thailand place ever since Grandma brought me home with her. Here’s how I found out.

Ride-em cowboy — er — cow-monkey! My broncho-riding adventure started in Claremore, OK.

Ack! Giant birds almost carried me off!  In another minute they will be dumping me into the river…

“Nya, nya, you can’t get me.” Have you ever said that?  I did — and I was sorry!

I shouldn’t have eaten the judges’ candy and left the wrapper on the table.  I shouldn’t have been naughty in the church service or tried...

Ouch!  I don’t like needles!  How can a nice lady be so mean — sticking a needle in a poor monkey?  Well, I’ll tell you about it.

I took a big jump, but missed the fence and fell right into the goat pen...that big goat was right behind me, his mouth open and...

Don’t leave me!  I was very naughty — but I didn’t think my badness would make them go off without me! It’s hard for monkeys to sit still...

Sometimes it’s tiresome being little!  I can’t wait until I’m grown up and can do anything I want.  Right now everyone tells me I’m not...

I think lots of noise and color and interesting things are fun — don’t you?  They get monkeys like me excited. 

Ugh!  I’ve had lots of adventures, but never a smelly one before!  The time we visited Washington, though, I got into very stinky trouble.

I like Seattle! I had a good time there with my friends Jesse and Sylvia. Jesse and I are best buds and we went everywhere together.

I LOVE it when there are lots of kids to play with me.  There were plenty of kids when we went to a Bible Conference...

Lots of people means lots or excitement for monkeys!  I jumped around the table at breakfast the Sunday morning we were in Denver, Colorado.

But first I want to tell you about the last adventure I had before I left.

I gasped for air! Whew! I thought I was going to smother down in the bottom of Grandma’s giant purse.

Real monkeys!  I could hardly wait to see them!  I’m a stuffed, toy monkey, not a real one, but I always wanted to meet the real thing.

“Grandpa, come quick!” I yelled. “There is a pig in the bedroom.” “Linkee, how could a pig be in the bedroom? I think you made a mistake.”

“Linkee, you are just supposed to smell the flowers,” she said. “I don’t think you are supposed to play with them.”

Finally!  I waited so long for this day!  It was National Children’s Day in Thailand.  I LOVE playing with the children.

Oh, no! The elephant’s trunk came closer and closer. It looked like a big snake. It almost grabbed me. He thought I was something to eat.

I was so excited I couldn’t sit still. I jumped from the table to Grandpa’s head and on to Molly’s shoulder. She grabbed me and held me.

Aaaak! Asa scared me. “Grandma! Grandma!” I cried. “Asa is making scary faces at me. What’s wrong with him.”

A motorcycle raced right toward me! I’m pretty fast, but before I could move – bam! That motorcycle hit me and I flew high into the air.

"I'm s-o-o-o-o bored," I said. "There is nothing fun for a monkey to do in this little bitty house! I want to go outside and play!

I was s-o-o-o-o mad! That Molly! Of all the bad things she could do to me, this was the worst. I decided I would never forgive her for it!
