“Grandma, I’m sorry for
yesterday,” she said. Her eyes were soft and a little abashed and her tentative
smile was sweet. Best of all, she stood within hugging distance, not pulled
back with a gap of anger between us. God is so good. Just the day before I was almost to the point of giving up — again.
